The waves at Playa Cocles have been a big surprise. A couple of double overhead days one good, one bad followed by a waist high day and then multiple head high. The good double overhead day was an awesome buzz. Some air drops on take off and even getting some barrels. Cocles seems to alternate between two states, super fun and closing out all the time. If the waves are not good just chill on the beach for 30 minutes and they probably will be soon. You can pretty much ignore the forecast and just look out from the balcony of the Lazy Loft. If there is relatively clean swell coming then Cocles will be worth a look for sure.

The nature here is very awesome! In one morning cycling around I saw leaf cutter ants, a sloth, beautiful flora everywhere and a crab. The crab was just chilling in the Lazy Mon bar downstairs from the Lazy Loft. I took the bike to the beaches of Chiquita and Punta Uva but for me it was exploring the jungle that was the highlight. Stop anywhere and take a look closer and you are bound to see something interesting. Check out some more pics from my day out below...
